Group Chat Question

Hi,

I have a very simple newbie question…

I’m looking at installing Spark within my firm, and would like to know if it’s possible to create a group of people and then select that group and message them all at once? The idea is for any member of the group to be able to start a virtual round table discussion without having to manually add in other people one at a time and ‘build’ a chat session.

Many thanks for your help on this,

David.

First of all, Spark is only a client and needs a server, e.g. Openfire, or any other xmpp server.

You can’t start a group chat just by sending a message to multiple contacts (called broadcast in xmpp). You can create a room and then right click a group, or select a few contacts holding Ctrl and right clicking this selection and send invite to your room.
