"Groupname xyz not found" when connected to LDAP

Hi everyone,

I have my Openfire connected to LDAP, and when I take a look at the logs I find messages like “Groupname Friends not found”.

I think Openfire is connecting the LDAP Groups with the roster Groups created by spark.

Does this can lead to problems anyhow, or is it just spamming the log files (for some reasons I want to leave ldap debugging enabled)

I wouldnt even need the Groups since I don’t use Group sharing anyway (btw: would leaving groups away improve my ldap search performance and when yes: how do I remove it properly without voiding my LDAP connection and vcards?)

It will do that with roster groups and gateway groups (Yahoo, MSN, etc). No worries other than it will inflate your logs.
