Hey tom,

A couple of days ago we fixed some problems with groups (shared groups in roster). We also added a couple of new features such as: being able to turn the feature on or off per group and let a different name be set for the group when in rosters.

So I’'d recommend trying with the latest nightly build and let us know if you are having any problem.

i try jive_messenger_2005-01-11,new features is right.but it can’‘t see other member of other groups when user isn’'t a memeber of group among them. this is to say ,i seted up three group, every group have different members, every member may view three group and member in three groups.it is useful.

first make sure the group name doesn’'t have any spaces… because that will cause a problem… the display name can have the spaces.

and the group thing… i started a thread here

It’‘s possible we didn’‘t address all the issues with double byte characters as group names. I’'ll test this and let you know what I find.

Thanks,

BTW, the i18n issues with editing groups are now fixed and will be included in the final 2.1.0 release.
