Groups problem in open fire

i have a problem with the gropus in the open fire.

i have installed spark on some 25 locations and each location (groups) has difference users … i have enabled the contact list group sharing in the server.

however the some of the users cant see some goups. some of them see as offline even as if they loged in and online on spark.

please explain me what is the solution for this … matter. as we have about 450 users useing spark and its very helpfull.

I would do:

  • clear cache
  • reboot OF server, client
  • check cache statistic: user,group and roster size,usage and % ratio
    If problem persist identify is it spark or openfire by installing different client.

I have similar problem with ~1k users and ldap integration when roster cache was too small.
