I had install openfire on debian 8 in local area (192.168.1.20)

But i can’t connect 192.168.1.20:9090 (or 9091) for install and manage server from any PC.

I’m think that only before installation.
Using debian “links” in text mode i have installed openfire succesfuly. But i can’t access to 192.168.1.20:9090 (9091). why?

And second question. I can use openfire not only local area? (for some users from internet)

Check the firewall/selinux (if installed) on that server, disable everything to test if you can connect.

Second question is too broad, but in general, yes, you can use it to connect from the Internet.
