Hi everyone, I am new to spark and openfire. I want to deploy openfire on our corporate network (about 150 users). Is it possible to chat with another corporate user if I log in from outside the office (ex: use WIFI, broadband). Please help me.
as long as you open the ports and PortForward them to the openfire server within your corporate firewall this should work
You may want to verify your broadband provider doesn’t block those ports if you use an AirCard or other wireless internet services
Ports: 5222, 5223 (client connection)
Port: 7777 (file transfer)
