I just installed the IM Gateway plugin… but have no idea how to use it. I’m currently building my client in flash so I’m using the XIFF library. Can someone please point me in the right direction or give me some kind of clue as to what I need to do. Also it may be wise if I let you all know that I’m new to XMPP.

Unfortunately I don’t have any real experience with XIFF, but generally you are going to want to read over XEP-0100 (www.xmpp.org/extensions). Generally it involves registering an account with one of the transports and then treating contacts through the gateway just like any other xmpp contact. I’m sorry this isn’t more informative. =/ I tried to find the docs on XIFF but I … couldn’t. =(
