How do we make sure that user gateway login details don't get exposed to maintain privacy?

We wish to deploy open fire server with Yahoo/MSN gateway. When users will access Yahoo/MSN using Gateway does there login details get saved in the database from where administrators might be able to access them.

The data is entered into the database, however the password is not plaintext readable. It is encrypted and unless the admin knows the hash string I doubt they would easily get it. Packet sniffers on the other hand would probably reveal it rather easily when users login to spark. This would be the case with or without openfire and spark.
