How to block messages from users not on receiver''s roster

Hi,

On some public servers (jabber.org, gmail.com) a user cannot receive a message if the sender is not on his roster. How do I get Wildfire to behave like this?

I’'m not aware of such an option, but Wildfire does support privacy lists. Is this really a server issue or a client issue with privacy lists?

My primary concern was that users could be spammed by someone unknown to them if they don’'t require someone to be on their roster before accepting messages.

Thanks for mentioning privacy lists - I started searching for the term in RFC 3921 and I found section 10.9 (Blocking Messages). It specifically mentions the use I require, as a setting from the client
