How to hide login ID from the JID?

I am using LDAP as authentication source for the Openfire server.

I found that currently JID format is *userid@domain *. Can I change the JID format to something else ?

I want to hide the login ID from public , so that user can’t guest other login ID. I feel that protecting this login ID is very important, because this login ID use for all system in my network.

This topic might be discuss before , but I can’t find it , so if anyone know the solution , please guide me.

you cannot change the JID format. that is the approved format for XMPP. You can configure what is displayed in the roster by changing some of the system properties and the vCard settings.
