How to setup a multi-tier Openfire server

I want to setup multi-tier openfire setup in my environment.

That will allow

X admin to create and access his sets of user like X1,X2,X3…

Y admin to create and access his sets of user like Y1,Y2,Y3…

if this is not possible then can i run multiple instances of openfire

server with different port so that my above requirement is fullfilled.

Hi,

you can not define multiple admins which care only about a few users.

You can run multiple instances of Openfire on one server. Anyhow it may be a bad idea to change the default ports. You may want to use a unique xmpp domain (IP address) for every instance.
