How to setup the File Transfer

I am using OpenFire 3.6.2 and Spark 2.5.8. I would like to set up the File Transfer. Does anyone know how to get some documentation on this?

There is no special documentation about that. Usually clients make transfers without server interaction (peer-to-peer). But you may want to enable File Transfer Proxy on the server if there are some problems with the transfers (http://server:9090/file-transfer-proxy.jsp). Also you may need to open this port on the firewall, if you have such.

When I try to send a file peer to peer, I get an error message. “You were unable to send the file to …” Retry

I figured out why it wasn’t working. The File Transfer directory wasn’t correct under Preferences.
