HTTP API to add users and rooms from external app?

I would like to know if there’s any webservice or http API available for an external app to create rooms and users on the fly.

If there’s not something like this, what should be used instead? (easiest possible method )

I don’t know why I didn’t see the “User Service Plugin” on my search.

This solves one part of my problem.

Any other solution to create chatrooms and add/remote users from them?

I have a hacky way of doing something similar using scheduled tasks and a vbscript to first authenticate to openfire and then launch a url to Open and Close a workgroup in fastpath via querystring paramaters. It’s not elegant by anymeans but it works.
