Datatype: FLAP__Header
The header contains the frame type, a sequence number, and the length of the following data segment. The sequence number is independently sequential in each direction. Packets from the server to client have one sequence number, while the packets from the client to server have a different independently increasing number. If the server receives a sequence number out of order it will terminate the connection. A common mistake is to use a u08 to represent the sequence number, which will roll over at 255 and cause the server to disconnect the client.

Maybe it was just my problem…and it isn’t connected with ICQ protocol changes, but who knows…
I have installed a OF 3.6.2 with Gateway 1.2.4.d and tried to setup an ICQ transport.
It didn’t work.
Anamnesis:
ICQ registration was successful, but client didn’t receive contact list and any new added ICQ contact got state “offline” in any cases.
When I entered ICQ in the jabber client, I got NullPointerException in the debug log of the server. Sorry no stacktrace.
Some ICQ uins works just fine.
Solution:
1 unjar Gateway.jar -> unpack, unjar joscar-protocol.jar.pack -> decompile net.kano.joscar.ssiitem.RootItem
2 edit repair failing method like this:

4 apply changed Gateway.jar to your server. I did it threw “upload plugin” mechanism

I was afraid that I’ll get just another error msg about protocol, snac or something I can’t even imagine, but wu-a-la it works!!

Takie komentarii zdes ne umestny. Pretenzii predjavliaite AOL’u. IM Gateway kstate i v proslyj raz ne byl ispravlen. Eto prosto AOL pocemu to reshil otozvat svoi izmenenia i vse starye klienty nachali rabotat i kak vidim - vremenno. V otlicii ot Mirand, QIP i procih, ne dumaju cto IM Gateway budut obnovliat kazduju nedeliu posle izmenenij protokola. Vo pervyh Danieliu v USA ne vidno cego imenno ne rabotaet, vo vtoryh osobo nekomu etim zanimatca, Daniel eto delaet v svobodnoe vremia i vremeni etogo navernoe v obrez. The last time i`ve changed server - and it started work.
So, I hope someone will find any new solution, thats why I`m posting here…
