If the user is being ideal for 5 min , his session expires. How to extend the session

Hi,

I have created a group chat using Xiff. The users are listed in the roster. If the user is ideal for 5 min the users list disappears , and even if v login again, i am not able to get the roster list. I hope this is due to the session time out. Can anyone tell me how to extend the session time.
