Is there a way on Smack to set an ignore status for a contact so that p2p messages would not come through ?
Could this be stored as part of the roster so that the setting persists ?

Smack currently does not implement this feature. I think that this is a good feature to have so I’'ll check with Matt to put it in our roadmap.
