IM Gateway Plugin 1.1.3 java exception error on Registration page

After installing the IM Gateway Plugin 1.1.3, I noticed my “Registrations” link on the main server tab is no longer working. I was able to view it without issue before registering any connections (in this case, a single AIM login), however after adding the registration, I get the following error:

Im using Openfire 3.3.2 with the 1.6.0_02 JVM from Sun Microsystems on a Linux platform. The plugin worked OK when using v1.1.2. Ive also attempted to do this running the “Enterprise” plugin, and I get the same error.

Are there any recommendations? I can’t tell if its a problem with my install, or an issue with the new plugin.

Thanks

same thing here … just the upgrade just few minutes ago. Another intereting thing is I’m using groups (openldap) to control who can use the external IM nets (MSN, ICQ, etc) but after the upgrade people from the authorized groups are unable to see (sign in) the msn icon on their spark. Any idea ?

I’m using opefire 3.3.2 running on a RHEL 4.

thanks,

sergio

I get the same type of error (setup for Yahoo using AD group for registration auth). I tried to upgrade via the Admin console and did not delete the Gateway.Jar files as suggested (I did go back and try to re-install based on the install suggestions by removing gateway.jar and waiting till gateway directory was deleted). Can I just download the previous gateway release and install and If so, where is the download link?

Ack, re the registrations interface, expect a 1.1.3a to be out in a little bit to fix that.

As for the icons not showing up, please check your sessions -> server tab and make sure there’s no mention of msn.whatever there. If there is, close the session and restart the plugin.

Let me try a few things in regards to the issues you all are seeing with authorized people not being able to see the icons. Make sure I didn’t screw something up in my logic.

Oh yeah, GATE-347 for the registration page exceptions

For the rest of you, please check in your error.log and see if GATE-348 looks like it might be something you are seeing?
