Is jive messenger capable of interoperating with jabber.com? I’‘m using Psi client, and my jabber.com id cannot see my jive messenger id, and vice versa. Is there some configuration setting I don’'t see, that controls that?
Or is jive messenger a closed system, for a single group of people?

Currently Messenger only supports users that are directly connected to it. This means you can’'t communicate with users on other servers like jabber.com. The ability to communicate with other servers is provided by the XMPP server-to-server (s2s) protocol. Messenger should have s2s support in the 1.2 release although the final feature list for 1.2 and release date have not yet been set in stone.
