Is there an App for the iPad and iPhone for this?

Hi, you should be able to use any Jabber capable app to connect to Openfire (assuming you have the Jabber ports open in your firewall). For instance, I use Meebo on my iPhone, and it works correctly: http://www.meebo.com/iphone/

Does this also work for the iPad?

I have not tested this particular app on an iPad, but their iTunes application site says it’s compatible with the iPad. Just search the iTunes store for Jabber and iPad. Jabber is an open protocol, so any program that supports Jabber, should support Openfire connections.

Monal (free) and Jabba ($2 now I think…) both work great…
