Jabber Mail Component

Hi,

I made a tutorial for the Jabber Mail Component ( http://jmc.jabberstudio.org/ ):

“JMC is a server service to check email from POP3 and IMAP4 server and retrieve them (completely) or just a notifications of new emails.”[/i].

The tutorial is available on http://ejabberd.jabber.ru/jmc (there will be also a user guide: http://ejabberd.jabber.ru/jmc-user ).

Currently it is only tested against ejabberd on Debian and FreeBSD (the other listed instructions are taken from the tutorial for PyMSNt and thus will probably also work).

So, people are welcome to contribute instructions for Jive Messenger, other XMPP servers, other software platforms, and all other kinds of feedback.

hey, could you help me a little with ICQ transport? I’'m using your tutorial to start PyICQt in Windows. But it stacks with: Restarting with process name PyICQt…

I have installed Python 2.4.1 and added Python’'s dir to a path variable (Windows 2000). Should i restart my machine? Looking to a code i think this problem appears because of path. And about spool dir. It has match my transport JID, so i have created icq.wroot dir in pyicq-t directory. What should i write in config.xml? I mean in this part:

It is not mine tutorial. It is badlop who write that tutorial…I have no experience with PyICQ-t so I can’'t help you.

oops Sorry, these tutorials all looks like the same So, maybe i will try to contact badlop.
