Java 8 is released and has security/other improvements.
Please add java 8 support into Spark
It needs to be tested still, although I’d imagine there wont be much if any issues.
If you would like to help test, you can copy the jre directry from your java8 installation into your %ProgramFiles(x86)%/Spark directory and replace the existing jre directory. (make sure it’s called jre otherwise spark may not see it).
Let us know if spark gives you startup issues or any problems
