The 2.2.0 release is missing the bin/extra directory that use to contain the scripts for running Jive as a service on Linux. Are there new instructions for this?
It looks like this is a problem with our build script. I’'ve filed this as JM-376. In the meantime, you can get the script from the latest nightly build at:
http://www.jivesoftware.org/nightly.jsp

huh i remember i was talking about this some time ago. I’'m still using deamon from my first 2.1.x installation and i have backuped it after upgrading to 2.2.0 since i have noticed extra is missing too
