Hello,

I’ve had a request to try to stop the “has joined the room” type messages, and so I disabled Broadcast Presence for a conference. In doing so, now the usernames don’t show up on the right side of the conference room. Is there any way I can have the contacts list, but not the “joined the room” text?

Hi,

My suggestion would be to attack this issue from the client side. See if the developer’s of your client code can squash this message, but leave the presence functionality working for the room occupancy list.

Hi

I also have the same request from our users to suppress the annoying join/leave messages from conference rooms. We are currently on 2.5.8. I’ve tried the recent 2.6.0 Beta 2 but haven’t found a way to disable these messages.

Please let me know if you have found a solution for this.
