Latest Migration Document?

Hi,

We’ve got an older Openfire install on an Ubuntu box. I would like to deploy a new Ubuntu box and install the latest Openfire version on it so I can test and just do a DNS change to switch the servers. Does anyone have any experience using migration documentation? Hoping someone could share a doc they have used recently for an Ubuntu to Ubuntu migration.

I don’t think that such documentation exists. Generally speaking, restoring a backup of the old installation to the new server, then upgrading that (old) version of Openfire to the latest version should work.
