Launch system tray session from external program

I need a way to activate the system tray Spark instance other than the traditional mouse click.

I have Spark configured to auto-start and auto-logon. The systems in question are dedicated as Point Of Sale terminals, and the Start Bar is hidden behind the POS screen. I can execute external applications from custom buttons, but this results in a new Spark session. I could use the same external app custom button procedure to trigger a .bat file, if I only knew what command(s) I’'d need…

Aside from this one hurdle, Spark & Wildfire seem ideal for my network.

Hi,

according to http://www.jivesoftware.org/community/thread.jspa?threadID=19377 the next Spark version supports xmpp: links, so this should solve this problem.

LG

As LG stated, the next release of Spark WILL contain XMPP URI support. This will allow you to do some nice integration work with your own site/intranet.
