I have read several threads to setting up LDAP. I am on a Win2K Advanced Server. The Database is running MSSQL on another box in the organization. I am using the latest build of JIVE. I followed the instructions for LDAP setup. However I can not log into Admin once I change the setting. It almost seems like it is not connecting to my LDAP. I am also running exchange server on another box in the organization. Can someone lead me in the right direction.

did you set this property in the jive-messenger.conf file?

Also if you’'re using AD, your adminDN should be username@domain, and not just username.

I have set to Administrator
I had adminDN set to: CN=Users,DC=office,DC=local
is this not correct? Should it be “administrator@office.local”?
YOur administrator may not be in the same OU as your regular users. In that case set up a your own user name as administrator in the jive config file
