Limit sessions per user

I would like to know if it’s possible to limit sessions per user, no matter if the resource is different or the same.

This seems like a really easy question. Is there an answer for this? It’s only been nine years!

There is no option to limit that. XMPP is designed to allow any number of sessions from the same user.
