Login error using ICQ gateway with google talk

Hi,

I’d like to chat with ICQ users from google talk.

Acording to http://www.bigblueball.com/forums/general-other-im-news/33739-connect-google-tal k-aim-msn-yahoo.html this should not be that hard to do.

But I always get the following error

Undefined condition.
The error condition is not one of those defined by the other conditions in this list.

Your registration was denied due to your account not existing on the same server as the transport.

When I use my openfire account instead of the google talk account the ICQ gateway works.

Can somebody help me?

not sure how this relates to anything with openfire or even the no longer support IM gateway plugin. That plugin provides direct gateway communication to the specifided services. This is more an issue with the gtalk server than anything with openfire or the im gateway.

Oh I didn’t knew that the IM gateway plugin is not supported anymore.

Is there a successor?
