The Jive Messenger Installation Guide[/b] references service scripts located in the bin/extra directory. These scripts are not to be found in the Jive Messenger 2.1.5 – June 14, 2005 /bor Jive Messenger 2.2.0_beta1 – July 6, 2005 /bdistros.
Where might I find these scripts?
try looking at /opt/jive_messenger/bin/extra

It looks like the scripts are missing from the 2.1.5 and 2.2.0 beta distros. If you download url=http://www.jivesoftware.org/source.jspthe source[/url] you can find the scripts in the directory Jet referenced.
