I’'ve got the 2.3 beta, is there any point installing the 2.3 full release?

How do I make users admins or moderators?

You should be able to make changes to conf/jive-messenger.xml to grant a particular (or more than one) username access to the webbased admin console. Search for ‘‘authorizedUsernames’’ in that file, the comments explain how to edit the file.

There were several betas for 2.3, all of them a bit different. You can check the changelogs in SVN for specific information

Update: There’‘s a bug in the jive forums that add ‘’%20’’ in the URLs that I’‘m trying to link. Remove the %20, and you’'ll get the right page.
