Message history and file attachment in Conference Room. Reply to message in Spark

"I’m using Openfire 4.8.1 and the Spark 3.0.2 client. I couldn’t find some important features, and I’d like to check if there’s a plugin or a place to enable these options:

  1. How can I check previous messages that I don’t see in the chat room? When I leave and re-enter, only a few messages are shown. I know I can increase the number of displayed messages, but this may cause some slowness. So, I’d like to know if there’s a way to view message history, similar to how it’s done for direct messages between users (View message history).
  2. Is there a way to send files in the chat room using Spark?
  3. In Spark, I can’t reply to a message (Attaching the original message). Is there a plugin or feature I can enable to use this reply function? Do you know of any client that supports this?"

Hello,

Sadly, Sparks development is lagging behind due to a lack of resources. As a result, many of the more modern features that you’d expect have not yet been implemented.

We could use volunteers or funding to get this implemented!
