Hey guys,

We are wondering if there is a way to have Openfire log who is accessing conversation history (Archiving - Search Archive)? I’ve enabled debug logs, all the options in the “Message Audit Policy” but I’ve not found a way to enabled this.

There is such a thing as Server > Security Audit Viewer which logs every action in the Admin Console. Not sure if it will show searches. If not, then i think there are no other options.

It unfortunately doesn’t log who accessed the message log archive. I think we’re going to throw an apache reverse proxy in front of the admin, it won’t give us the username that did a search, but at the it’ll give us the IP it came from.
