Message Window pops up with empy message

Hi @ all,

we have Openfire 3.8.2 and Spark in our Company (about 30 Users)

Now several Users have the problem that sometimes they get messages without text, but the user who wrote the message put text into it. Or Users send messages and no window is popping up.

I think it has something to do with the cache in Openfire, but didn’t change anything and 30 users are not that many.

can anybody help me with that problem?

I don’t think this is related to Openfire. Usually it’s a Spark problem. Does the issue go away if you restart Spark? If this doesn’t help, you can try deleting user’s profile (history will be deleted). Though there is no final solution for this.

Hmm ok I thought it maybe has something to do with caching in openfire.

so I guess I have to find an alternative to spark… my users don’t like deleting profiles
