Missing Offline Messages

Hi Guys,

This is the first time in here. Well i am encountering some issues with my openfire. I am experiencing some issues with my offline messages. All the while the openfire is running fine and out of a sudden the users are complaining that they are experiencing some issues with the offiline messages.

Users who have submitted offline messages were complaining that the other party did not receive their messages. Upon investigations i found this in the openfire logs.

Could it be a client issue or is this related to the openfire process?

Btw the following are the openfire version and the client version software that i am using.

openfire-3.3.3-1

psi-0.1.1 (client)

Thanks.

I would strongly recommend upgrading your openfire to the latest version. I do not know if that will fix your issues but it could not hurt. Be aware that a lot of the the plugins have been upgraded as well. Also check the offline storage size, the users may be exceeding the quota. You can increase it as the data is purged on delivery.

Hi mtstravel,

Before this i’ve already upgraded my Openfire to the latest version in hoping that the issue could be resolved.

Well after quite some time, the problem seems to be eliminated but to no avail it happenned again.

Any of you guys have experienced this problems before? I am basically using OpenFire’s embedded database, could that be its main issue?

Thanks for reponding.

Hey guys,

Anyone got a solution for this? Was it just … i’m the only one who ever faced this issue? …
