So I have a simple problem that seems to be eluding me.
I have configured openfire connecting to a LDAP server for authentication and such
What I want to do is append the phone number for a user stored in the LDAP server to the Display Name, so in my buddy list I would see
Jimmy Pells (555-555-5555)
I though the display name would go off the vCard Name so I configured the vCard Name appropriately and tested it out and it works, but I guess the display name in the buddy list does not go off of the vCard Name
anyone know what has to be done here? do i have to crack open the code and do some custom configurations? or is there any easy solution im skipping over
any help at all would truly be appreciated
