If I can make a feature request for the IM Gateway I’'d like to request that the gateway cleared the transport rosters on logout.
I only use the MSN transport so i’‘m not sure if this problem is isolated to MSN, but it annoys me when either I logoff from MSN in Spark or am forced off that my contacts are shown in the state before I logged off. It seems to me that when the transport logs off and I’'m still connected all of the users from the other IM system should either be removed from my list or at least marked as being offline. That would make it more clear as to my login state.
