MSN Gateway 1.2.3a Login Exception Issue

HI

Running 3.5.2 on linux server with MSN 1.2.3a gateway. In debug I get this

2008.08.12 11:51:48 MSN: Exception occurred for MYUSER@hotmail.com : javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Remote host closed connection during handshake
2008.08.12 11:51:48 MSN: IO error: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Remote host closed connection during handshake
2008.08.12 11:51:48 session 14 sent message UUX 4 53

Any ideas? I can post more of the logs of required.

Resolved. The issue seems to have been the SSL certs that the server uses were out of date. Running apt-get to install updates esp the ca certs seemed to have worked. Apt-get had not been run in over 6 months so the certs must have expired.
