Hi guys!
I’d like to know if there is some way to setup one Openfire server to manage multiple domains (or is the Dev team is going to consider this feature?).
For example, if my server has the IP 192.168.100.1, and I can make my DNS to point domains xmpp.mycompany.com, jabber.anotherone.com, im.thelastone.org to that IP, and i want to manage these XMPP accounts: user1@xmpp.mycompany.com, user2@jabber.anotherone.com, user3@im.thelastone.org, etc… Can I do all this with one single Openfire server, i.e. not having to install Openfire in three different machines to manage three different XMPP domains?
I’ve read the following posts and my requirement seems quite impossible:
-
Specifying Active Directory OUs for users (http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/message/164319)
-
Openfire + AD Domains (http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/message/163328 )
Please help solve this issue.
Regards,
Luis Tama
