Looks fairly basic at this point from the screenshot, but congrats on the progress so far! I’‘d love to hear about the client you’'re developing a bit more. Is it commercial, open source? Is it specialized for some purpose or a generic client?

It will be an open-source project.
The main purpose is to create a intuitive instant-messaging client. And yes the start will be a very basic client. This is also because one has to start at the beginning isn’'t it ;).
This client will have all basic things a instant-messaging client needs. And no more than that (for now). All the users will have to get used to MOM. And that will take some time.
And off course, it will be a project to learn. After all I’'m studying Computer Science.

I thought it was best to edit the first message. We now have a Roster that works completely well. It updates the way it was meant. The second screenshot is the one. Please read the first post.
