I ve been trying this for hours. I need to setup OpenFire with MySQL on my Mac OS X Lion (10.7.3). I’ve downloaded the DMG and it has been installed successfully. I’ve also created a database in phpMyAdmin named “openfire” under localhost. However, when I’m trying to connect to this in the OpenFire setup, it shows up an error messsage and asks me to look into the error.log file, which I’m unable to find.
I’ve tried all possible combinations to connect to MySQL but no luck. I am selecting the Preset to be MySQL and renaming [Your Host] to localhost and have also specified the database name
Could anyone tell me a workaround for this ASAP.
