I need help to configure openfire to communicate properly with IM auditor… At this point I am able to send and receive from users external to my network…however I am only able to send to internal user but can’t receive…

You can be more specific? Just reading your message, is clear that isnt a problem with openfire, but with firewall rules on your network.
