Hi ! I don´t know if this question was already made. I tried to find something similar but couldn´t. Is it normal Spark to accept automatically new MSN contacts? It doesn´t ask me if I want to add the new contact, simply adds it to Spark.
I´m using Plugin 1.1.0 Beta 5, Openfire 3.3.2. The same thing happened using any version.

It depends actually … on a number of things. There are modes in MSN where you have effectively decided that X person already has permission to add you. That would definitely cause there to be no notification. Likewise there are clients that auto-accept without worrying with it. I don’‘t know if Spark falls into that category. (I don’'t really test much with Spark) I can tell you that if a “contact added me” event occurs, I do sent a “subscribe” packet to the client so… in theory it should do the right thing. =/
Ok, thanks for reply. I´ll test other clients and also see if Spark has some “workaround” for this behavior. If I find a solution, it will be posted here.
