Newbie and start up problem

i am a newbie to this and have gone through the forum for help and after trying some of the help i am still not able to figure this out…

i am running fedora 6

this is what i have done: I have installed jre-6-linux-i586-rpm.bin and pointed java home to the /opt dir. -version i #java -version

java version “1.6.0”

Java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0-b105)

Java HotSpot™ Client VM (build 1.6.0-b105, mixed mode, sharing)

#Downloaded wildfire_3_1_1.tar.gz amd did this:

#tar -xzvf wildfire_3_0_0.tar.gz

#mv wildfire /opt

#cd /opt/wildfire/bin

#./wildfire start

Starting wildfire

  1. nohup: appending output to `nohup.out’’

http://localhost:9090

the page just does not load up so set up the rest of wildfire.

could anybody please help

Hey badlad,

Could you tell us what you have in the log files? That should help us understand what is going on.
