Hi, I’‘m a newbie, and I’‘m trying to get the hang of using Smack. Apart from the code snippets in the docs, does anyone know of any simple compilable example programs that I can download? I’'m mainly looking for simple stuff like a text-based IM client, nothing fancy. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
Hey, I’'m not aware of any actual text based IM clients with available source.
Jives very own Spark client is now open source though so you could probably glean a fair amount of information from it.

If you have any questions about how to go about implemting smack just post them up and someone will generally try and answer them
