Newbie having problems with Openfire and Inverse

Hi folks, I have installed Openfire 5.0.3 on an Ubuntu 25.10 server and loaded the Inverse 11.0.1 plugin. Everything appears to work until I try to log in. The login page appears and the external links work but when I enter a username and password the page shows me a pulsating black ball as though it is thinking about something but it never moves on from that point. It does the same thing if I select the option to create an account.

I am confident that HTTP Bindings are enabled. Does anyone have any ideas on where I could look to see what’s going on, or know what I might have configured incorrectly?

This probably is the webclient (running on your desktop) failing to connect to the Openfire server. Try opening the developer console of your browser, and try to determine what connection the webclient is attempting. I suspect that it’s going to an endpoint that is either not what you expect, or is blocked by some kind of network configuration thing.
