non-ASCII character codes hose the client

entering non-ASCII character codes into the chat dialog will cause the server to terminate the user’'s connection for a couple of seconds.

What client are you using? Any valid UTF-8 text should be accepted by the server.

I am using an older Rev of Pandion. 2.1.1.

My only guess so far is that this is a Pandion bug. Can you test with another client to verify that it’'s not a server issue?
