We’‘ve created a new branch in CVS for all future 2.1.x releases: jive_messenger_2_1_branch. We’'ll probably release 2.1.4 in a few days, but move several of the issues currently assigned to 2.1.4 to 2.2.0.
Why branch now? 2.2 development started in earnest last week and Gato is already making huge progress on server to server support. We’‘ll definitely have an official beta process so that everyone can get in on the testing of major new features. Within the next couple of days, you’'ll start to see 2.2 code changes reflected in the nightly builds.
