Odd History Problems

When a user initiates a private conversation from the main Roster screen, the history is saved and shown to the users after they close and re-open the windows.

If a user initiates a private conversation with the same user from the Conference window (double clicks their name in the Conference Roster) they do not see any history from the previous conversation, and the messages from this new conversation don’t appear in the history either.

This seems odd… anything I can do about this? Not sure if my users are particularly picky, but this is viewed as an inconsistency.

Hi,

it’s a big difference whether you are using MUC or P2P for p2p messaging:

P2P: foo@example.com/work speaks with bar@example.com/work
MUC: roomname@conference.example.com/foo speaks with roomname@conference.example.com/bar
