I currently have a wildfire server running but would like to be able to have two completely independent groups of users. Both groups should not be able to see each other. Either from rosters or search. Is this possible with wildfire “out of the box” or would this need an extension of some type? Could I use groups to do this?
There is no way, and Wildfire does not support multiple domain, so even if you could use different domains for both users you’'d need to setup another server and probably deny server-to-server connections of both servers.
Or you could write a plugin with a packet interceptor which does the user separation.
