We have OpenFire 3.5.1 installed in our production environment (Win2K3 R2). However, the installer used is not available. I was able to zip up the folder and transfer it to a new development server (Win2K3 R2). After extracting I am able to install and start the service. Howver, when I attempt to start the admin console using the openfire.exe I receive an error stating “Could not load main class”. I see the openfire.jar in the lib directory. The only thing I can think of is that when the software was installed originally on the production server some setting (register/path) was set so that the admin console would behave correctly.
Two questions
1.) Does anyone have a link to the 3.5.1 installer?
2.) Does anyone know what the setting to allow the admin to work when deployed from a zip file?
Any help would be appreciated.
